Riding Assessment
Your riding assessment will be conducted by both instructors and will last one hour. This joint evaluation allows us to determine the most suitable instructor for the rider as they begin our lesson program. A parent, guardian, or adult student (if over 18) must sign a liability waiver before any horse handling.
The assessment will include a ground lesson featuring horse-catching, grooming, and tacking up, followed by riding if desired, and concluding with untacking and returning the horse to its designated space. This process enables our instructors to assess the student’s riding level (if applicable) and provides the student with an opportunity to experience our program to ensure it’s the right fit for them.
